🎈🎈End of Year Party Details🎈🎈

On Tuesday, June 28 we will be celebrating the end of the school year.  If you are planning on sending treats for the class, we have been reminded that the snacks need to be in individual packages.

As the 2021-2022 school year draws to a close I want to extend a huge THANK YOU to each of you for gifting me with such amazing students.  Thank you for helping make this a memorable year for me.

This group of kids continued to display resilience to the ebb and flow of covid. Their creativity during project work was impressive and their desire to learn and ask meaningful questions extended across the curriculum. I know they are nervous for Grade 4 and I have reassured them that they are ready for all the exciting adventures waiting for them in Grade 4. πŸ’›

😎 I wish everyone a safe and joyful summer  😎

🎢 Bring recorders to school for music (Tuesday and Thursday)

πŸ‘ Yahoo the assembly was a hit!   We started the week off with our Grade 3 assembly.  The students did a fabulous job sharing with the school Traits of a Leader.  The link was sent in an email on Friday.  Please watch and enjoy our leadership learning.

🏫 School Tour    Another exciting event this week was our tour at Fairview.  The students were a little nervous (so was I) but I feel the tour helped calm our nerves.  The tour ended off with a visit into a Grade 4 classroom and a loot bag that contained sunglasses, a tattoo and a Fairview pencil.  Thank you Fairview.

πŸ‘· Building     Our classroom has been a busy place as the students became architects, engineers and construction workers.  The students were testing various materials to determine what is the best way to design and build a stable bridge. Check out our pillars, beams and completed bridges.

 May 24 - May 27

We had fantastic weather during our Bridge Walk.  As you can from the pictures we saw many bridges and even cute goslings!!

A BIG thank you to the parent volunteers.  We couldn't have done this trip without you.
