• Sharing what we know about the COURAGEOUS HERO Terry Fox - our Terry Fox Run is on Sept. 23.  We are accepting donations on line (see Mrs. Taylor's email) or you can make a donation in class during our Toonies for Terry campaign. 
• Passing on the 💛LOVE of READING 💛 (click on Check It Out to see Mrs. Howell buying a book at Chapters - Chinook Mall location).  See below for more information.
• Writing complete sentences that include a subject - verb and working on adding triple scoop words. 
• Identifying the continents and India, Tunisia, Peru and Ukraine on a world map.
• Options (tell your parents about the option you selected).

⛅Please note: Beginning next week we will be OUTSIDE during our PE class.  Please arrived dressed for cooler weather.  Our PE class is @ 8:10AM M-Th

Truth and Reconciliation:

As part of our commitment to Truth and Reconciliation, we are asking you to help show your appreciation of the land by completing the following between September 19 - September 27:

1.Find a special rock (no larger than a golf ball).

2.While you are out enjoying nature (hiking in the forest, mountains, parks, biking by the river…), take a picture of your rock nestled in nature (see some of the examples below).

3.Please print your picture (4x6) and bring the picture AND rock to school.  We will use your picture (and rock) to support our learning about acknowledging our beautiful land.
