🌺 November 1 - November 5 🌺

Ask your child about the learning we did this week...

Math - Using numbers 1 -1000 we discovered increasing and decreasing (by 2) number patterns.  We also used the nature collected during our community walk and created increasing and decreasing patterns.  Click on Check It Out to see some of our work.

LA - Continued to use description (triple scoop words) to describe a noun

Science - We are almost done classifying animals.  We will have a quiz next week. Our virtual field trip (from the Bow Habitat) helped us understand the life cycle and characteristics of a trout.  We drew and labeled parts of the life cycle and had an opportunity to ask questions during this presentation.

Appreciating Nature - Our first community walk to Flint Park was a success! We sat for 15 minutes of uninterrupted observations. Click on Check It Out to see our work.

Social Studies - Many of use are done our project about the landscape and climate in India.  We also learned more about Diwali and admired the beautiful outfits of our classmates who celebrate Diwali.  Click on Check It Out to see our Rangoli designs.
