Ask your child about all the learning we did this week.....
Cultural Celebrations:
Learning about Holi (before Spring Break). This week we completed creating elephants that display a "festival of colors"
Science:
Exploring ways that sound travels, having fun with tin can telephones and learning what materials are best for soundproofing.
Over many weeks the students have created games that focus on learning about nutrition and writing instructions for a game. This week, the students had a chance to play the games. Toys "R" Us look out!!!
Art for the yearbook:
Students have an opportunity to design a cover page for the yearbook. Judging will occur next week. Below are a few examples of our work in progress.
